Stanfields is a small Canadian underwear company that wanted to make a big splash. So we challenged one man to hitchhike across Canada in his underwear. In November. And since Canadians call underwear "Gitch" ... the Gitchhiker was born.
Along the way, the Gitchhiker raised nearly $40,000 for below-the-waist cancer research, was interviewed on every major news network across the country and online underwear sales increased by 50%.
The campaign got a Merit at The One Show, was shortlisted at Cannes and was tweeted by two of the "Avengers" (Mark Ruffalo and Cobie Smulders).
